Can departement allow late filing of TDS return? What can b the reasons?

You can file TDS return belatedly but there are some penal provision in case of late filing of TDS return.

Department allows late TDS filing of Return.
The reason will not be asked in case of delays as interest and penalty provisions are there in the Act.
.
However, right now, you can file the return
by depositing Interest on the collected TDS amount @ 1.5% p.m.
