18 July 2007 Can anybody tell me that if no tds has been deducted for salary & other than salary, then is it required to file nil tds return.

29 July 2007 No,it is no mandatory to file Nil return. becoz the penalty leviable on non filling of TDS return is subject to tax deducted at source and if there is no TDS no penalty can be imposed.
