Can you tell me, in case of payment of tds through cheque, which occasion we follow to avoid interest for late payment as on 7th of every following month.

1> The cheque issue date as on 7th of the month but clear after 7th.

2> The cheque issue before 7th & clear within 7th of the month.

Please give me the correct way...
