18 March 2016 Dear Sir,

Please clear my about to the following

A firm paid fees to a consultant Rs.30,000/- without deducting tax as the amount does not exceed the limit. Subsequently after three months the said Firm paid Rs.60,000/- to the same consultant deducting TDS @10% being Rs.6,000/-. Is it right? whether TDS to be deducted for the earlier payment of Rs.30,000/- when paying the subsequent sum? kindly advise please.

Thanks & Regards,
C. DURAIRAJ

18 March 2016 dear
you need to deduct tds on 30000/- rs. too.
As the limit of R.30000/- is not the slab given.
Hence TDS to be deducted was Rs.9000/-.
