TDS on Water Supply By Water Tanker

10 February 2011 Dear Experts,
we have issued a contract to water supplier to supply water to our residential complex in haryana. contact value is more then one lac.

kindly advise is there any TDS deduction applicability from employer side.

TDS u/s 194C is required to be deducted by the payer as it exceeds the threshold limit.

10 February 2011 I think employer means contractor awarder. If so, deduction U/s 194C.
