Tds on tution fee

05 November 2014 Dear Sir ,

our institute receiving Tution fee from Students ,One College provide Sponsorship for 04 Students for Rs.1,89,000.

The College authority tell us that they will Deduct 10% TDS on the amount .

So kindly tell me that is TDS applicable on Tution fee ?

05 November 2014 They are deduction TDS for your professional service. Yes TDS is applicable in tuition fees but not by individual.........
