08 December 2009 TDS ON GOODS TRANSPORTER ARE NOT LIABLE FROM 01.10.09 IF TRANSPORTER PRESENT THE PAN CARD.
MY QUERY IS IF THE TRANSPROTER IS PROPROITER & THE PAN CARD IS IN THE NAME OF OWNER? THEN TDS IS LIABLE OR NOT.
IF ANY ADDITIONAL REQIREMENT PLEASE SHARE.

08 December 2009 Proprietor and his firm are the same person. A PAN card can only be in the name of the Proprietor and not in the firm's name.
