Dear Sir,
Taxi Hire Charges comes u/s. 194 C for which TDS rate is 1 % (non-co).
Somebody told me that TDS on transporters for which valid Pan - Rate 0%, Pan not available 20%.
Do we required to deduct TDS of 1 % (non-Co) on Taxi Hire Charges or not.

Taxi hire charges are not to be catagorized as transporter,
transporter defines the vehicles used for transporation of goods.
