I AM HAVING RETAIL STORE OF STATIONERY . WE SUPPLY STATIONERY TO GOVT DEPARTMENT AND THEY DEDUCT TDS WHEN PAYMENT IS BEEN DONE . IS THERE ANY RULES OR ACT WHICH SAY THAT TDS SHOULD NOT APPLY ON tHIS PARTICULAR CASE

TDS on supply of Goods is not applicable. Please take a clarification under what section and why are they deduction TDS
