Tds on sponsership payment

Whether TDS has to be deducted on Sponsorship payment for delegate bags by Indian Firm to Foreign Co. situated in UK for event being held in hong kong ?

If yes than at what rate?

22 May 2012 As per my understanding the Indian co. is paying for delegate bags in an event to be held in Hongkong to a UK Co..

To me it looks that TDS liability should not be there but you should obtain Tax Residency Certificate (from UK Tax Dept)through the UK Co.
