A and B have purchased a property of Rs. 60 lacs having equal share from three sellers . First installment is paid by A from his account only. now at the time of depositing TDS and filing 26QB return will there be three returns by A only or will there be 6 returns by A and B. The fact of the matter is that installment is paid by A only

If installment is paid by A only than A may file TDS statement as the TDS is required to be made and deposited by person who is making the payment at the time of such payment or credit.
