and what is TDS treatment if lessor(husband & wife) charge Rs 16000 per month individually ?

EXEMPTION LIMIT IS RS.18000/-
IN THIS CASE TDS WILL BE DEDUTED BY LESSEE ON AMOUNT AS IT EXCEEDS RS. 180000/-
TDS RS.19200/- IN EACH CASE WILL BE DEDUCTED.
