TDS on rent

10 December 2008 I m doing an audit of a client where he is doing a bussiness of renting a car.

He is charging a TDS on his rent(which is basically his income)to customer i.e. rent amount+TDS amount. Is he doing correct?

Also clarify me that how we will do an audit this?
