06 April 2013 can any one please explain the provision for deduction of TDS while making payments to truck drivers for freight and when TDS are not to be deducted.

06 April 2013 If PAN is furnished by the by the Transporter then no TDS. otherwise TDS required to be deducted @ 20%.
