Tds on directors remuneration

24 January 2012 directors remuneration paid to directors. will tds be deducted on it and under what head on salaries or on professional fee?
pls suggest.

Yes TDS will be deducted from the payment made to Directors for their Remuneration....

It will be deducted under section 192 (Salary)..

Remember one thing that the TDS to be deducted if the payment is made to director...not when you make a credit entry only...
