Company A made a contract with Company B, But the Company B break the contract before the work complete and Company C is taken the contract for remaining works. Company C is giving the bill to Company A for the work which is actually done by Company B as decided by company B and company C. To whom company A deduct TDS

as per law when you make payment or credit the a/c of party whichever is earlier you have to deduct the tds . for that you have to take the bill, who make the work, and deduct the tds. if you get bill from another then you have to deduct the TDS of bill vendor u/s 194C.

TDS deduction is based on payment or accrual basis. Thus whichever party raises bill and whom the payment is made, TDS has to be deducted on that party
