A company is paying rent on behalf of a professional doctor. The company has rent agreement with landlord and honorarium contract with the doctor. Now the company is deducting Tds on rent as well as tds on honorarium on the gross amount, i.e. tds on the same amount twice . Whether it is correct

It depends upon the terms of the agreements between the professional and the company. . If you can illustrate in numbers , a better reply can be given. .
