16 June 2009 WHAT IS THE TDS % ON COMMON AREA MAINTENANCE OF THE MALL, MEANS THE EXPENSES INCURRED FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF MALL LIKE HOUSE KEEPING, SECURITY SERVICES, TECHNICAL MAINTENANCE AND OTHER EXPENSES.

The maintenance contracts for Mall are subject to provisions of TDS u/s 194 C and the rate will be
2% plus SC plus Cess = 2.26%

and all subject to limit of Rs.20000/- per annum
