MY FATHER HAS BEEN DECEASED. HE WAS EMPLOYEE OF AND HAVING SALARY INCOME.
AFTER HIS DEATH, BEING NOMINEE, I HAVE RECEIVED HIS WAGE REVISION ARREARS AND PORTION OF REVISED GRATUITY. THE EMPLOYER HAVE DEDUCTED TAX @10% ON WHOLE GRATUITY WAGE REVISION ETC. PAYMENT AND ISSUED TDS CERTIFICATE IN FORM 16 IN THE NAME & PAN OF MY DECEASED FATHER. PLEASE GUIDE ME WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR CLAIMING REFUND OF DECEASED AS I HAVE RECEIVED THE AMOUNT ON BEHALF OF MY FAMILY. WETHER I SHOULD REQUEST TO EMPLOYER TO RECTIFY 24 Q AND ISSUE THE TDS CERTIFICATE IN THE NAME OF NOMINEE

Prepare an affidavit and send it to the company along with the death certificate for rectification of the details of your deceased father
