Mr. x died and his loan receivable is standing in firm of Sharma traders. Sharma trader deduct tds on deceased name. can we convert loan of Mr.x into Mrs. x loan due to she is the only legal heir. Mrs. x is very old and nobody help and Mrs. x is also not interested for legal heir certificate. can we convert loan of Mr. x in . to Mrs. x loan and deduct tds in the name of Mrs. x

Yes you can do it after taking written consent letter and PAN No from her. There will be no issues for you.
