RESPECTED MEMBER

I want to know if deductor deduct the TDS in FY 2008-09 but not paid in same financial year, due to such incident deductee not get credit of TDS.

Now deductor wants to pay such above TDS in F.y. 2009-10 with interest and penalty.

Can deductee take credit of TDS of F.y. 2008-9 in F.y. 2009-10

20 June 2010 Credit shall be available for F.Y. 08-09 ie. A.Y. 09-10 only.
Credit of TDS relating to a particular A.Y. cannot be carried forward for availing in next A.Y.
