What is the rate of interest on late deposit of TDS, The case in question is when TDS was deposited just 2 days late after March 7 but interest has not been deposited till May 1. So will interest be calculated for 1 month or 2 months

interest will be the 1% per month or part of the month so tds due date 7th if you paid late up to 6th of the next month is one month is 1% if paid after 6th of the next month is 2 month is 2% .so in your case is 1% only

In your case, you have to calculate interst only for one month.
