09 March 2010 Now the TDS rate is 10% for professional fees.
is the surcharge applicable for tds on prof fees?

Please provide me the details for the same.

w.e.f. 01.10.2009 TDS u/s194J on Professional Fees is 10%. No surcharges or cess is applicable. Flat 10% to be deducted.
