06 July 2016 Dear Tax Gurus,

Is it mandatory to file TDS returns for the employees who are not falling under tax bracket?
Scenario 1: Employee 001 is drawing salary 10000 p.m, Is the company required to file TDS? If No, please advise how the employer can obtain Form 16.

Appreciate your views on the above mentioned subject.

06 July 2016 Whether the salary is taxable or not you need to show in TDS return in form 24Q and issue form 16 accordingly.
