Tds deduction question on contractor and rent

13 February 2014 Hi sir,
we are running of courier business and hiring of vehicle for running purpose.my question is whether deducting of tds on payment to such vehicle owner.

Another question:- Rent on building is exceeding more than deduction limit per annual. but rent starts from december month.the total amount of rent is not exceeding limit of 180000 for the financial year 2013-14.Ex:-28000 per month rent. whether i deduct on such rent.

13 February 2014 For hiring you have to deduct TDS

For rent the limit is also per month kindly cheque this limit and deduct TDS accordingly
