21 October 2013 my query is whether I consider rebate u/s 87a of rs 2000 for tax deduction on salary or ignore it

Why to ignore?

Absolutely yes. Same need to be granted as per law.

If you dont give benefit to all employees now this will get caught while filing annual return & they will have to apply for refund from IT!
