Tds deduction falling in next qtr

31 October 2013 Dear Sir

I have short deducted tds by mistake for 1 Apr 13 deducted on 23 july 2013.but whenever I am going to validate the return it is error showing out of period.

pls suggest measure to validate the same.

31 October 2013 You need to deduct the shortage and deposit the same with govt alongwith interest. Then mention the details of the challan tds return for Q1.

06 November 2013 I have deducted & deposited the same, but whenever I am going to validate the TDS Return it is showing error as out of period/qtr.?

How to show the above transaction when date of payment & date of deduction in other qrt.
