24 April 2012 Invoice Amount of our clearing agency for import clearing include custom duty, Freight charges, Service charges etc.While deducting TDS on which amount shall I deduct and what is the rate of deduction?

Normally freight forwarders provides two invoices. 1. For expenses incurred on behalf of us 2. Their Service charges

In your case, It seems they have given only one Invoice covering all the itmes the you need to deduct the TDS on entire amount u/s 194J @ 10%
