TDS Deduction

07 May 2011 Dear Sir,

When we had deducted the TDS amount the amount is coming Rs. 85.80, then it is mandatory to deduct the amount in round figure e.g. Rs. 86/- or we will be deduct Rs. 85.80 ??

Please advise

07 May 2011 The amount has to be rounded off to nearest integer. In your case, it is Rs. 86/-
