One person is working in a co. Bt he is not employee of co. (joined co. as a trainee or fresher ). Can company deduct tds for the payment made to that person? If yes how he get refund of the same? As his income is not cross the limit of 2 lakh,..

If he is not employee of company then his status is contractor... Company can deduct TDS from the payment. He can get refund this amount. For refund, he should must to file his Income tax return.
