Tds deducted for nri but no tan available for deductor

IS THERE NO OTHER WAY TO REMIT THE TDS TO NRI FOR TDSDEDUCTED U/S.195, WITHOUT HAVING TAN AS THE DEDUCTOR IS THE INDIVIDUAL.

15 January 2014 No. The TAN has to be taken. Later if u don't have any TDS liability you will not be supposed to file TDS return.
