TDS deducted but remitted late

one of my client dedudcted tax on rent in march onn rent paid in march, but as last date of remittance to Govt. is 7th apr., he deposited on 19th april.
I wanna ask whether rent of allowed as a deduction or not.

yes allowed as deduction, now I T Provision has changed it should be paid before filing return

Also intt needs to be deposited for month
13 August 2009
Payment of March TDS upto the date of filing return is allowed.
