03 November 2009 Dear All,

Pls let me know the TDS to be deducted in foll case:
Vendor supplied manpower to us.
Along with the labour charges(25000), Charges(16000) for welding machine used by labouror is also included in the invoice.further rent charges for cutting set Rs 3000/-also included.

03 November 2009 I think you should deduct Tax u/sec 194C on the gross amount of the Bill if not seperately invoiced for different item/nature of job done.rate is 1% for Individual/Huf and 2 % for other recipients.
