I have a query, Whose bank account details are to be given for refund if any? As the deceased assesse's bank account is closed at the time of filing ITR ?

I rightful Legal Heir shall file the returns of the deceased person basis the details of such deceased person. Bank accounts of deceased person shall be given for filing/ refunds purpose. Once the refund is credited into the account of such deceased person, the legal heir can withdraw the amount and close the account accordingly. But if the account of deceased person is closed, the Legal Heir may file the returns with his details and be ready for any clarification asked by department while processing the refund.
