Mr.A had died in June 2009. He has deposited Rs.500000 in a bank. Bank has deducted TDS on interest & paid the net interest in Mr.A's account. Now, Mr.A's wife has received a TDS certficate from the bank in Mr.A's name for FY09-10
Querry - Can Mrs.A (deceased wife) file a return -as a representative assessee & show the interest income, other lossess & claim for the TDS deducted towards interest in the return? In such case - can she sign the return as a representive of the decesead?
