is TDS applicable on job work?(labour charges)if yes, what is transaction limit ?

15 July 2009 TDS is applicable as per Sec. 194(c).

If single bill amount exceeds Rs.20,000/- or total bill amount for particular Financial Year exceeds Rs.50,000/- Then TDS is to be made @2% + Ed. Cess.
IF compnay surcharge as aplicable.
