Dear Experts, Chit fund companies collecting commission or charges from chit members towards their services, if the member is under tax audit case, whether he is liable to deduct tds? If so under which section?

Chit members are paying their subscription and not commission which the chitfund companies treat as their income and hence no provision for TDS
