If we can delay payment of Tds, Late payment of Interest is 1.5% P.M. from Last year i.e F.y.2011-2012, Please confirm the same

19 May 2012 You are correct. From 01st July 2011, late payment of tax deducted attracts interest @ 1.5% p.m. or part of month thereof.
