02 May 2012 if tds is deducted on contract which is not crossing the limits i.e neither 30000per cony. nor 75000pa,still it is deducted but late.Then is it liable for interest for late deduction?

02 May 2012 Yes, if you have deducted TDS even if it is not liable, interest will be levied on late deduction.
