Whether TDS on payment of capital goods to be made? if yes, why...and if not, why

Yes it is to be made as TDS applies in all the cases whether it is Revenue expenses or capital expenditure.

I agree with you Manoj.
However, if there is contract between 2 parties (A & B) to supply the capital goods. And B would actually procure mutiple capital goods from other vendors lets say C, D, E and so on...and some of them would be actually imported by B from these vendors.
And later B would transfer or sell or set these capital goods for A.
So my query is, whether that would form part of 194(C)...and would that be liable for TDS.

still its a case of sale of goods no tds
no tds even on installation charges because that will also be part of contract for sale
