IF WE ARE MAKING TDS PAYMENTS OF LAST YEAR BILLS (i.e. 2010-2011) in 2011-12 ( i.e. after IST APRIL ) THEN WHICH A.Y HAS TO QUOTE IN TDS CHALLAN.

10 August 2011 If your bill date is any given date in FY 2010-11, then the Assessment Year in TDS Challan should be 2011-12.

Because you are paying tax for FY 2010-11, this payment is to be assessed for the AY 2011-12.
