24 February 2011 An Assesse is paying rent & deducting TDS on it whole the year but in the last month he set off the last rent from his security which was deposited with the land lord now whether he is required to deduct TDS on last month's rent?

24 February 2011 Yes....TDS must be deducted on last month rent also ......he booked rent a/c to rent deposit a/c.........rent is a expenses
