I have one confusion in realation to deduct TDS on payment of Artists, Musical Group, Dance Group, Orchestras whether such expense covered U/S 194C or 194J....

Please do reply of it.....

24 December 2010 They are all professionals under the IT Act. you see section 28 for details. Moreover, these are not at all under the purview of 194 C. 194C is TDS on contract, but all contracts not specified/includible under those specified are out of its purview.
