09 November 2010 We Import the Materials.We booked transporters charges in Freight Charges-Import A/c. Pls Tell me Can we deduct TDS on such Amount If Pan Not Produced by Transporter?

09 November 2010 Yes, if Pan not Produced by Transporter then TDS@20% applicable. but limit is single bill 30000 per contract or 75000 P.A.
