11 September 2010 Hi.. can any1 help in ths issue???

Can i disclose my net income if I`m / I cannot claim Tax deducted at source from my gross income???
Eg:- gross income - Rs.100,000
tds - Rs. 1,000
Since TAN is not provided by the deductor, I`m not able to claim TDS.. Can I disclose Rs. 99,000 as my income instead of Rs.100,000???

11 September 2010 Ask the deductor to give either TDS certificate or refund the TDS deducted.
Otherwise you can treat the Net Receipt as your income.

11 September 2010 No . Actual Gross income need to be disclose in Return, ask the Deductor to provide the TAN and claim the TDS

14 September 2010 Thank you Ramesh.. Take care..
