I AM PAYING RENT TO LANLORD RS.14000 PER MONTH. MY DOUBT IS I HAVE TO DEDUCT TDS FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL OR NOT, BCOZ IT I CONSIDER LIMIT OF RS.180000 NO NEED TO DEDUCT BUT IF I COSIDER LIMIT OF RS.12000. I HAVE TO DEDUCT TDS.
I THINK THAT LIMIT OF 18000 WILL APPLICABLE FROM JULY ON WARDS. SO FOR APRIL PAYMENT I HAVE TO CONSIDER THE LIMIT OF RS.120000.
PLAESE CLARIFY MY DOUBT THAT I HAVE TO DEDUCT TDS OR NOT.

YES TILL JUNE 2010 YOU HAVE TO DEDUCT TDS.
