15 April 2010 Interest of Rs.15500/- was credited on 31.3.2010. TDS of Rs.1550/- was deducted. But due to oversight, TDS was deposited twice by the deductor. Kindly advise the remedies available with the deductor to get back excess amount of TDS inadvertently/ wrongly deposited?

15 April 2010 Apply to TDS officer for Refund, it is similar to normal I.T. Refund except it has to be applied to TDS officer.
