12 June 2009 if the co is got merged with another company and name of company is changed. the company has paid tds to the governemnt in the old name whether the assesse who is claming a tds credit will get it or not?

12 June 2009 Yes they can able to claim this TDS amount.
As long as earlier company files all the tds returns there will not be any problems.
