What is the difference in application of

Form 13

and

Form 15G/H

Please clarify.

03 August 2014 All these three forms are for relief from tax deduction at source.

15G & 15H, both are Declaration by an Individual to deductor that he/she has no taxable income, therefore, tax should not be deducted at source.

Form 13 is application for issue of lower deduction certificate u/s 197.
