I WANT TO KNOW THAT IF WE FILE THE REVISED TDS RETURN OF 3RD QUARTER OF F.Y. 2008-09 DUE TO PAN OF A DEDUCTEE THEN CAN INCOME TAX DEPARTMENT IMPOSE PENALTY ON US.

Penalty can be levied only for delay/dafault in filing the return; not for revising the return.
